Re. Canada
goose field training day.
The state wildlife division is offering a limited number of
spots available to live capture and handle Canada geese. These
field training days will be under DEP supervision and will be
part of the banding project that the state offered for the 2006
season and again for the 2007 molt. There will be two days
available on the week of June 18th. One will cover areas in
southern CT. and the other will be held in the northern areas of
CT., specific dates meeting locations and times will be given
after we hear from you and you have been notified that there is
available space for you.
Space is limited and filled on a RSVP basis. Please e-mail Craig
Lewis CWCP at
Aardvark323@aol.com or call
Craig 203 778 4651 to reserve your spot. Please leave your name,
phone number or e-mail address and town in witch you live.
If you plan on adding goose control as an added service in your
wildlife control business, and plan to attend the NWCOA
Integrated goose management course. You should consider this
field training date very important in filling DEP requirements
for conducting lethal Canada goose control in Connecticut.
Sincerely
Mark Jones
